Obscure and forgotten Japanese punk rock!
After the forgotten Chiba Punk band The Manks went on hiatus, vocalist Nori and drummer Chihiro formed The Plasters.
Despite only being active for a year they managed to release this 7” EP on their own Apple Jam label.
4 tracks of 70’s style punk in the vein of Slicks and The Rawters with some power pop influences ala later Registrators.
I love that obscure stuff like this exists on vinyl, it’s contemporary KBD and wouldn’t be out of place on the next volume of the Destroy All Art compilations.
